This is one the Re-ment series that's worth buying the whole set because everything is so kawaii!! Even though these are sold as blind bags, they're are packaged in a pouch without any cardboard wrapper so it's pretty easy to determine each style by gently squeezing each pouch. So great for those who don't plan on buying the whole set but just don't squeeze so hard that the pouches are all crumbled or else it's difficult for the store to sell them. My favorites are the Chinese steamed pork bun and the ice cream cone. These keychains are the spongy squeezable so I don't really plan on using them as keychains because my keys might damage them. Plus, I don't want to get them dirty so most likely I'll hang one on my purse once in a while.

Hello Kitty Decorative Eggs from Formation Arts
From top to bottom: French Princess, English Queen, Greek Goddess, Arabian Dancer and the Chinese Empress. The eggs had quite some weight so they didn't feel like cheap plastic toys but the egg stands were bad. The egg stands were flimsy plastic that didn't hold the eggs securely and my eggs would tilt whenever there were just a slight movement.

Sanrio Small Gift Mobile Pop-up Shop at San Francisco's Pier 39
![]() |
| To celebrate their 50th anniversary, Sanrio is touring around the US with their mobile pop-up shops. They were at San Francisco's Pier 39 on Sunday. It was pouring in the early afternoon and luckily when I went their around 5PM, it was dry. I also found a parking space that was only steps away from the mobile shop! |

| If you're wondering why Hello Kitty is holding a gift box w/ Target's logo, this event was sponsored by them. After making my purchase, they will give you a coupon good for a free box of Hello Kitty bandages from Target plus a 20% off postcard at a local Sanrio store. |

| The Smart cars have also teamed up w/ Sanrio to create this Hello Kitty car wrap. I really like this. It's all over the car but it's not too overwhelming. The pics below are the 3 items I bought yesterday (2 coin purses and 1 wallet). From what I learned from the Sanrio staff, some many of the products are only available at the mobile pop-up store so they're pretty rare! The hamburger coin purse is my favorite and it's made by Loungefly! |

Hello Kitty VS Traditional Hina Ningyo dolls from Re-ment
Set to be released this coming January. I'm interested in the Hello Kitty one because Sanrio had a multi-tiered set w/ all the Sanrio characters on each level but it was around $300. I'm assuming these sets will be much more affordable.

Got 4 Chinese Hello Kitties in one purchase...ARGH!
I went to Urban Outfitters again. I bought 6 this time. First one I opened was the China Hello Kitty and yea!!!! After that, I was bummed out more and more. 2nd box was Kenya kitty, 3rd was England, which I already have. The biggest bummer was opening 3 China kitties in a row!! I still need 4 more to complete my collection.

Hello Kitty x Urban Outfitters Vinyl Figures Series 3
The 3rd series of the Hello Kitty vinyl figures are now available but it's a real disappointment compared to previous series. They're less edgy. Each of these figures are suppose to represent a certain country by the outfit they're wearing but Sanrio has already done this before with their plush dolls. But since I've already collected series 1 and series 2, I got them just for the sake of having a complete collection. The bad thing about buying from Urban Outfitters is that they throw in several cases of the figurines into one bin. So you will end up with many duplicates. I bought 12 boxes (that's already $96!) today and I ended up with 2 extra Germany, 2 extra England and 3 extra Kenya. I still need 5 more figures to complete the set but I don't know how much I need to spend in order to get the rest! The package indicates that there's a secret Hello Kitty but it's just Hello Kitty in Kimono. The ones I still need are Canadian, French, Chinese, Japanese (the secret one) and American Hello Kitty. The ones I have so far are:

Re-ment Nov/Dec Preview
Here's a preview of the 5 Re-ment sets that will be coming out in November or December. The Disney ice cream cones are keychains that are also pens. The cats are keychains. Re-ment is doing another zipper pouch series with the Toy Story characters (can't wait till they do a Hello Kitty or Rilakkuma zipper pouch series)! The Hello Kitty pieces are all magnets (I like the sewing machine)! For the Rilakkuma set, those are regular miniature food items. I 'm definitely going to get the Hello Kitty magnets and 3-4 complete sets of the Rilakkuma bakery!

Re-ment x Sanrio Candy & Snack Keychains
Just received my set of keychains. They're mostly candy charms with either Hello Kitty, My Melody, Little Twin Stars or Patty & James on the packages. What I didn't like about some of the charms is that the material is the same cellophane wrapper as real life candy wrappers. As you know, cellophane wrappers are smooth and glossy when new but once you fold or crumble it, the wrapper gets dull and wrinkly. So as keychains, I don't think the charms with the cellophane wrappers will not be able to withstand gentle use. I would rather hang them on my purse so my keys won't rip the delicate wrappers. The other candy packages are vinyl pouches so they will be slightly more durable than the cellophane wrappers.

Miniature Breakfast + Figurine display case
![]() | |
| Got this from the dollar store. Each clear case can be stacked together and larger pieces of miniature can fill up the case nicely (like the rice cooker on the top). They're acrylic so they're cheap looking but I'm trying to see if I can cover the backs, sides and the bottoms with pretty scrapbook paper to make it look presentable. Great way for temporarily displaying "favorite items" of the week! |

| This is from the Re-ment Teddy Bear Helps Out series. I don't have every set, just the ones with food. I gave away all the teddy bears that came with this set. |

| Besides a Hello Kitty pancake, I know there's a Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse pancake (a keychain version). |

| I wonder if this is really possible in reality. That's 8 thick pancakes there! |
