Same Song Concert in San Francisco Sep 20th

I was sick since Saturday and I'm much better now. Sunday was the Same Song Concert at Cow Palace. We already left the house extra early so we can arrive there and a hang out a bit before the concert started but once we were in the area, there was traffic jam. There were only 2 lanes on that particular street so cars were just inching their way to the entrance. There were several times when a car on the opposite side of the street was leaving but 2-3 cars will immediately try to take that spot. The concert was suppose to start at 3PM and we were still stuck in traffic at 3:15PM. I was worried that I would miss out on the Hong Kong artists. My boyfriend caught a guy already inside a car on the opposite side of the street so we all stared at him to see if he just got there are if he's leaving. Once he started his car my boyfriend tried making a u-turn but too many oncoming cars were coming and at the same time we were worried that other cars would wan that space too. We did end up with the space!! Had to walk to the entrance but we were more than happy to do that since walking was WAY faster than driving into the parking lot. In addition, there were tons of people walking to Cow Palace so the walk didn't feel long.

But once we stepped into the property of Cow Palace, there was a long line go into the event. The picture below was taken after completing 2/3 of the line. At the moment, the car that was in front of us earlier was hasn't even reached the pay booth for the parking lot. After walking all the way to the end, they opened a 2ND entrance and we were able to quickly walk in. I think a 2ND entrance was opened under the production company's request. Since this concert is a CCTV event, filming will be going on and they cannot film a half-empty arena. So once inside (it was 3:25pm), the staff urged us to quickly find our seats and it was a relief to see that the concert was delayed since many people were still lining up to go in.

After about 10 minutes, the concert began. The first performer was Leon Lai. If it wasn't for the parking space on the street, I would have missed out on him and Kelly (she was the 2ND performer). Here are a few pics from the even. Tried to get every single performer but many of the pics did not turn out good. The concert was 3 1/2 hours. In addition to the celebrities, there were many local performers and groups performing at the concert. Enjoy!

Since Liza Wang and Law Kar Ying got married not too long ago in Vegas, Eric Tsang was teasing them. Eric urged Liza to inform the the audience of their sudden decision.
